The filter cartridge is manufactured using a special process, having a filter fineness of 0.7 µm. A germ protection is integrated at the filter outlet.

The high-quality activated carbon used, based on coconut shells, has a very high adsorption capacity. For example, lead, copper, drug residues or hormone-like substances are removed. The minerals remain in the drinking water.

Use of the cartridges/flow rates (at 4 bar pressure): 0.8 - 1.2 l/min

Replacement periods of the cartridges / filter performance

For reasons of capacity and/or hygiene, the cartridges should be changed after the following periods:

- 8 weeks or max. 800 liters to travel
- 12 weeks or max. 1000 liters stationary

However, within these periods a filter change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water. After the trip, the used filter cartridge should be disposed of and the housing cleaned and dried. The filter cartridge must also be changed after longer downtimes (longer than 3 weeks).

Disposal

Used activated carbon filter cartridges can be disposed of with household waste.
